Design/Build

Smithco Engineering is highly skilled in implementing the design/build delivery method of construction for HVAC systems.  By custom designing an HVAC system for a building or project, significant cost and time savings are generated for General Contractors, Developers and Owners.  Preliminary meetings are held with Owners and Architects to determine needs and requirements. The system is designed by a Registered Professional Engineer and drawn to scale using AutoCAD.  In addition, comprehensive computerized load calculations are done on each project, to determine the precise amount of HVAC capacity needed. Upon project completion, full sets of plans are provided, with an Engineer's seal. 

Smithco's philosophy has always been to provide our Customers the best designed, engineered HVAC system combined with value and operating efficiency, but avoid "gold-plating", or over-engineering a project. For over 36 years,  Smithco has value-engineered, designed and installed HVAC systems for a variety of clients and applications.
