As President, Mr. Smith has over 35 years of experience in the HVAC business.  He is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas and his areas of expertise include Design - Build, Plan and Specification as well as design experience in many applications including Office - Warehouse facilities, Computer-Room cooling systems and Office Buildings. Alan’s responsibilities include sales and engineering, as well as new client development.

Due to his leadership and vision, Smithco has earned a prestigious reputation as a leading provider of HVAC systems for many commercial clients and expanded its operations to cover not only the Dallas – Ft. Worth Metroplex, but the entire State of Texas as well.

Alan enjoys spending time with his wife, family and children and is active in his local church.  His hobbies include home remodeling, music and car racing.
